Fun movie. Three Musketeers given the Wild, Wild, West treatment. Great cast.
Was not the best, a little cheesey, but good. :)
I agree with tj_is_cool's comments
Actually better then I thought it was going to be. I hated the first 1/3rd of the movie. Bad action, acting, and no real plot. But as it goes forward I think the actors know they are in a terrible movie and really ham it up (particularly the bad guy). The action sequences become more fun and the annoying characters (the king and d'artagnon) becomes less annoying. So it wasn't a complete waste of time.
Good – The Three Musketeers (2011) 110 min. Stylish and fun adaption of the famous Three Muskateers story will not disappoint. Terrific action scenes and bravado by the lead characters will entertain. The only real reservation was that the film must’ve been made for those viewers with a very short attention span. Expect a sequel to this film…Lastly, keep in mind that this was directed by Paul Anderson who directed the Resident Evil films and Alien vs. Predator - expect "entertainment" to be the leading motivation for what you're viewing as opposed to Shakespeare prose..
It was to me a mix of Pirates of the Caribbean and any other cliché based movie with swords and actors trying to say somthing witty.
