Just when I'm certain that John Williams has gone as far as he's going to go with his craft (which is miles ahead of many), he somehow manages to outdo himself. Such is the case with this remarkable, masterful underscore. Williams is fresh (yet still ever 'Johnny') for his own body of work AND for Harry's wondrous world ...and would have won the Oscar that year if it had not been for Jan A. P. Kaczmarek's unique and finely-tuned work on "Finding Neverland". (Plus, I figure the Academy members thought they'd give someone else a shot for once... :) ) The brilliance of this score should be experienced with AND without the visuals. Enjoy!
