Kind of disappointed a little bit. I am an attention to detail type of reader and felt like there was some things that Weren’t answered and a part where a character contradicted herself. Also some proof reading could have been done.
Although Lisa Jackson isn't one of my favorite authors, I quickly became caught up in this story. I am not a mystery-solver, so it wasn't until the author let the cat out of the bag that I got it! An enjoyable read and would recommend it.
Strong characters with detailed pasts and presents mixed with twists and page-turning exploits make this a book you can't put down.
As the daughter of impersonator Didi Storm, Remmi's life has been a series of difficult circumstances that only get worse when Didi disappears. A tell-all book 20 years later reopens the past creating danger for Remmi's future when she reconnects with family and a friend from her teens.
I volunteered to read an ARC from St Martin's Press through Net Galley.
Not a big fan. I was very disappointed in this book usually Lisa Jackson wrote very exciting mysteries but not this one. Glad I didn't buy it...
Enjoyed this book from the start full of mysteries, thrills and twists. It has a missing woman, missing twins and an abandon 15 year old. My kinda of book.
