I am not sure if it was my preconceived notions about Bismarck or the writing style of the author but this was a boring read. Perhaps a newer biography might be easier to read. In this book too much repetition, Bismarck is portrayed as a petulant cry baby in some cases. I would not recommend this book unfortunately.
