In the beginning of this book, Billy Graham writes that when he looked for materials on angels, he couldn't find much. He says that through the ages people studied angels, " . . . But today we have neglected the theme of good angels, although many are giving the devil and all his demons rapt attention, even worshipping them."

To fill in the void, Billy wrote "Angels: God's Secret Agents" back in the 1970's, and there have been new editions since.

Since then, there has been an "angel craze" and many books were written. Many are nonsense. This one isn't.

Angels are mentioned in the Bible almost 300 times, and using both scriptures and stories, this book summarizes
what's there.

Billy Graham covers what they are, how they differ from us, what we can do that they can't, what kinds there are--if you don't know a cherubim from a seraphim, and can't tell the difference between Michael the Archangel and Gabriel--or if you're wondering how angels are spectators, and what they do for us, this is the place to go find out.

"Angels" is especially relevant because of the vampire craze and the rise of other books on demons and the occult since Graham wrote it. Graham describes the history of fallen angels (the one devil, satan, and the other fallen angels, the demons), as well as their future. Graham points out early that satan is merely a fallen angel, not even close to God in power: It's not an equal contest.

Those who like good angels, will find "Angels" encouraging and informative, while those who like and promote fallen angels need this book to see what they're up against. What team would run out onto the field without first learning about its opposition?
Over 3 million copies sold.

The definitive work on angels. A comprehensive, but easy-to-read summary of what the Bible tells us about angels, both holy and fallen, how they differ from us, what they do, and their future and ours.

Billy Graham originally wrote it in the 1970's because he could find very little on the subject. "Angels: God's Secret Agents" has sold over 3 million copies.

" . . . But today we have neglected the theme of good angels, although many are giving the devil and all his demons rapt attention, even worshipping them." What Billy wrote in "Angels" in the 1970's, about why he wrote the book. Note: the word "worship" comes from "worth-ship"--meaning "to give something value." For example, giving something time, thought, or money, is a form of "worship."
