Too much plot not enough personal engagement. The author did not have one likable character, they were all losers from the get-go. I was so frustrated I flipped through most of the middle but by the end I did not care who did what to whom.

A totally enjoyable drama-mystery that will surely please readers who crave the "unanswered" questions this novel presents. No conculsion until the very end. A good read to get you through the cold months. 4 out of 5 stars only because it was a bit confusing in a few areas, and the first chapter didn't really catch my attention (but a very important chapter .... pay attention!). However, from chapter 2 onwards it was captivating! Unique, totally believable characters keep you away from reality for awhile!

This author uses extremely foul language through out her books.

I usually enjoy Ms Walters' books.
This one however the time lines were confusing and the characters less engaging than her other books.
