Philip Yancey offers compelling, true portraits of grace's life-changing power. He searches for the presence of grace in his own life and in the church. He asks, How can Christians contend graciously with moral issues that threaten all they hold dear? And he challenges us to become living answers to a world that desperately wants to know.

This has got to be the one book that has impacted me the most in so many ways. One thing that is repeated often in this book is "Nothing you can do can make God love you more and nothing you can do can make God love you less." Brilliant summary of what the biblical concept of grace actually implies in our daily walk and how we see ourselves, as well as others. Philip Yancey is an under the radar Christian author now, but every one of his books is worth seeking out and carefully reading.
