In his ninth appearance, popular Cleveland P.I. Milan Jacovich solves another crime

When a gaggle of Hollywood "types" invades working-class Cleveland to shoot a new film, the producer hires Cleveland P.I. Milan Jacovich to see to it that the film's star -- the reputedly wild box-office hunk Darren Anderson -- doesn't get into any trouble.

When the actor seduces the underage daughter of one of the film's investors, Milan quits his job in disgust. The next morning Darren is found murdered.

Milan soon learns about the high cost of fame as he ends up pilloried on a tabloid TV show, and bumps heads with Hollywood legends, the Cleveland mob, and a sadistic killer who makes Milan his project for the week.

I read my first Milan Jacovich book, "Pepper Pike", in 2011 or 2012. I became addicted, and since then I have been reading the books in the order that they were published, so this is #9 for me. It was just like the others, excellent. Les Roberts is a great writer who always informs and entertains and keeps me turning the pages. What more can I ask?
