This is the 5th book in this very long series, and so far it was the best one, in my opinion. The author did a very good job of keeping the reader guessing as to who the antagonist is in this book. Several new characters are introduced, it will be interesting to see if they reappear in subsequent books in this series.

Lucas Davenport #5. Davenport is up in his cabin when the local sheriff asks for his help investigating a local murder.

Some VERY wicked stuff going on in this Book.

Entertaining, fast-paced, and one of the best outings by Lucas Davenport
