Who can you trust when everyone you know is a lawyer?

Mary DiNunzio has been slaving away for the past eight years trying to make partner in her cutthroat Philadelphia law firm. Now the stress level has increased, since she learned that if she doesn't make partner, she'll be out of a job. She's too busy working to worry about the crank phone calls she's been getting -- until they fall into a sinister pattern.

The phone rings as soon as she gets to work, then as soon as she gets home. Mary can't shake the sensation that someone is watching her, following her every move. The shadowboxing turns deadly when her worst fears are realized, and she has to fight for something a lot more important than a partnership -- her life.

Good book, but I can see how Lisa Scottoline has grown as I read "Corrupted" first. I can't wait to read the next book in line!

A little disappointing because I've read the next book in the series and it's better.

I love the Bennie Rosato novels! I have heard Lisa Scottoline called the female John Grisham, and I agree! Great books! She's one of my favourite authors.
