You might want to read the reviews on Amazon and get a different book on meditation. This one seems to be full of nonsense information:

"For instance, he says that the brain is just millimeters away from the upper palate (no, the nasal cavities are above the palate; the brain is higher up, behind the eyes and forehead). He says that "Even in the vacuum of space, sound waves vibrate to the outer recesses of the universe, toward infinity." (Say what?! Sound can't travel without an atmosphere.) He says that neurons divide and "all the cells in the brain are replaced every year." (Complete nonsense--neurons don't divide like other cells.)"
