Despite the possibly off-putting subtitle, this is a fantastic book, compellingly applying the concept of the collective action problem (aka the prisoner's dilemma, the tragedy of the commons, or the free-rider problem) to Canadian society. And since it focuses on clearly explaining big-picture issues in economics and philosophy, it has aged quite well. Highly recommended.
