To date, this is the best book I've seen addressing cat health, including algorithms (boxes with arrows) to help you figure out whether you can offer a home remedy, get your cat into the vet this week, get your cat into the vet today, or get to the vet - now, all based on the symptoms your cat has. There is also good info on diseases that your cat might be diagnosed with. The only thing that would make this better is a 4th year veterinary feline pathology handbook, which would be very expensive and hard to track down.
