The complete story of the most successful wrestler of them all; In the late 1970s Terry Bollea was part of a rock band playing smoky, low-key bars. And along the way he's found time to make his mark as a movie star as well... Since he first fought as an amateur way back in 1978, Hulk Hogan has won seven World Titles, and in those early years of the 1980s he did more than any other single wrestler to bring the WWE to the massive international audience it enjoys today. This book was awesome.
1. I did a book report on it in Reading class and got an A+!
2. It tells the story of a man who literally changed WWE forever (Don't say Steve Austin or Shawn Michaels did because they didn't)
3. Hulk Hogan is a beast overall and I hope he does a good job with Garett Bischoff on TNA IMPACT!

This book was a wild ride - and a very enjoyable one at that! Hogan's stories make the average Joe's life look quite boring in comparison. If you enjoyed professional wrestling at all, you will probably LOVE this book. Hogan's life is "intense." This book is better than his second one in fact. He talks about steroids, other celebrities, TV and movie work, getting attacked by fans, getting arrested, injuries/surgeries, million dollar deals, the seedy side of pro wrestling, etc. It is an easy read. The writing flows very naturally. With a little effort one could probably finish it in an afternoon.
