A good book to learn the basics of Chinese script. If i had this as a supplementary textbook when i was taking Chinese heritage classes, it would have saved a lot of headaches! Simplified Chinese characters are featured prominently in this book. In addition, there are exercises within each chapter to evaluate one's understanding.
