This was mistakenly put on hold for me, and is not even close to the genre I like, so I didnt listen to it.

April - mid June 1977 was an extraordinarily strong period of time in an exceptional year for the Grateful Dead.

Capping a rich and elaborately creative tour of the east coast this show at the HCC is a powerful example of what the Dead were all about and always striving to attain.

Whether you have been on the bus since the Acid Tests or are just curious about who the Dead are, what all the fuss is about and what made them unique this show will deliver for you.

For audiophiles, commercial productions of past shows of this high quality speak to the extreme emphasis the Dead placed on producing/retaining high quality music. This show/issue is a great example of how much the band poured in to delivering the best possible sound for their audiences.

Some rise, some fall but everyone makes it to Terrapin (~};-).....
