Even though, at times, I thought that Federal Agent, Eliot Ness, and his "untouchable" boys, came across as being just a little too self-righteous for their own good, this 1950's TV Series was still first-rate entertainment all the way.

Well-produced, fast-paced, action-packed, and, yes, quite violent, The Untouchables (authentically depicting Chicago's vicious gangster scene of the 1930's) was one of the best crime shows of its time.

I thought that actor Robert Stack made for a superb Eliot Ness.
