"There's nothing like a first love to bring family tensions to a boil in this riveting dark comedy! In a startling performance, Adam Scott (Step Brothers) stars as Caleb Sinclaire whose emotions go haywire when his brother, Peter (Alex Frost, Drillbit Taylor), brings home new girlfriend Emma (Brittany Snow, Prom Night). As the dysfunctional family is propelled into chaos, Caleb and Emma confront their mutual distrust and attempt to resist a growing sexual attraction."--Container.

Acting and plot in this film are brilliant. Well worth watching.

This was a rather unique film. I know no other film quite like it. It tells the tale of a dysfunctional family, but that is not the unique aspect. What seems to be unique is that some of the main characters seem to be totally distasteful to being unlovable. And yet in some way, their distastefulness gets to the point of being humorous. The first hour is 5 star. The remainder is a little more similar to what I’ve seen before.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”
