Even a good creative team like Nick Spencer and Paco Medina come up short in this collection, featuring a group of mutants (and one character who's not a mutant) coming together after much tribulation. The failure of the story is really a criticism of the Ultimate universe than the creative team. It's become a completely pointless exercise by this point.
