As a person who belives that short stories can introduce you to a complex and muti-faceted universe that authors create this rate rather high for me.

The Honor Harrington universe
series is a must read series for all Si-Fi fan's. One of the best series I have ever read.

I liked most of the content but the one short story by Weber- "Beauty and the Beast", while entertaining, stretched believability. Abilities not attributed to the main characters previously (in other books) came fast and furious. Still overall, a good read.
