Here's how dumb I am: I saw this title and thought it was a new "Clash of the Titans" movie! But it's really about the White House being captured, although it's not that other movie about the White House being captured. Geez, get it together Hollywood. Gerard "I'm Not Good at Acting" Butler plays a disgraced ex-secret service agent (He let Ashley Judd die.) who is in a "Die Hard"-like position after the White House has been taken over by evil terrorists. To make it easy to know who the bad guys are, they're North Korean. Aaron Eckhart is the president, Morgan Freeman is someone else, and so is Melissa Leo. Even if you think you haven't seen this movie before, believe me, you've seen it. Decent enough action, if a deeply stupid script. Directed by Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day," "The Magnificent Seven").

Too unbelievable to keep my interest and too many blow-ups for my taste.

Enjoyable action movie. Pretty strong characters - typical far flung Hollywood action plot, but if you like that kind of movie, this is very well done.

Amazing. Banning is my security mentor. See London on a fallen.

Basic action flick - not much more, but entertaining, not boring. Some North Koreans invade the Whitehouse, kidnap the President and wipe out a lot of Washington D.C. (they made it look so easy). Secret Service guy (Gerard Butler) ex-Special Forces background must save the day, save the President and save the U.S.A. Fast moving, quite bloody and violent. Appears to be a continuing saga - next reincarnation London Has Fallen is also on DVD.

So similar to Whitehouse Down.
It was like seeing the same movie with different characters.

Decent action flick - a few plot holes/unbelievable, but kept me on the edge of my seat!

Mike Banning: You're going to seriously try to rope-a-dope me? That's an old man's move.

President Benjamin Asher: I am an old man.

Mike Banning: No, you're not. But you box like one.

Mike Banning (walking out of the White House, ravaged by the defeated warmonger Kang and his terrorists, with The President): "Sorry about the house, sir." President Benjamin Asher: "It's okay. I believe it's insured."
