David Hadley is 51 years old, lonely, overweight, depressed, and looking to change his life. He travels to Echo Glen, a few hours north of Seattle and home to a Hollywood-style stunt school. The school is run by June, a daredevil BASE jumper and an ex-stuntwoman herself. June seems to have a soft spot for animals and misfit people alike, and she runs the stunt camp to raise funds for her animal sanctuary and the outcasts it employs. Captivated and entranced by the chance to get to know June, David overlooks his poor fitness and advanced age relative to the much healthier, much younger students and enrolls in the stunt school.
