General mood of this book: confusion, some romance, plainworld moving further into fantasy

Chris is making a slow build from the realm of the normal into a world where anything can happen in this book. While reading it the first time, this could annoy the reader--but later the reader will be glad for the break from breath-ripping magical power and transdimensional insanity. Not my favorite in the series, but entertaining.
This is the second installment of Christ D'lacey's Last Dragon Chronicles.

This book is a follow up on the best book series ever made (in my mind) and will always be. I have read all 8 several times plus the other books like Rain and Fire and Gruffen's book.

The first book seemed a little slow, and you were constantly wanting answers and confirmation, but here, there's like an overload of information. I really loved how characters you thought you knew continued to develop. It's an awesome series. :)
