I love this whole series and can never get enough of it

The movie had potential but we were left disappointed. The visual effects were great, story line was bad, acting was meh.

I would easily suggest that you don't watch it.

There was actually some humor to this movie. However, I found the movie had the hint of the A-team or another movie called Losers tied in with it. There was no real scared factor like the first movie The predator which Arnold played in. The movie was slightly entertaining with a little humor but really was not a great predator movie. The bit with the one alien dog who becomes tame because of a shot in the head. What was that? Are the writers running out of things to write about? Also, at what point did the predators get a voice translator? Was that after the Alien attack in Alien? So was this movie suppose to be another version of The A team or was it suppose to be an attempt at predator? At least there will not be a sequel to the A team or losers because at the end of the movie they were all killed and put to rest by the captain who had the brainy son!

"If it bleeds, when we can kill it."
Like the titular space hunter, the Predator series is hard to kill. If you include the AvP movies, this is sixth in the series. Bringing it full circle writer/director Shane Black ("Iron Man 3," "The Nice Guys") was in the original film. I went into this with zero expectations, so was able to enjoy it for what it was. The plot (the predator is evolving or something) is overly complicated and the cast, including Key of Key & Peele, Gary Busey's son (Busey was in "Predator 2"), and Sterling K. Brown, is overly qualified. There is plenty of bloody action and, wait for it, predator dogs! It clearly sets up a sequel.

Solid addition to the Predator series. During the movie the director made sure that everyone knew different predators visited the earth at different times so the soldiers and scientists have been preparing for future visits. To the audience the Predator producers were saying more sequels people. By itself this predator movie was a good watch.

I actually love this one. It carries the story further, with a great cast that mixes action and moments of comedy that makes it so fun to watch!!

This is another installment from the Predator franchise, chock full of the familiar violence, gore and profanity held together with good special effects which are the substitutes for the metaphysical ‘chewing gum and bailing wire”. Definitely a film for those who love a mix of special effects and gratuitous violence and don’t care about needless things like character building, plot or good script writing /s.

1 star for good visuals though at times the quality can dip down on even that. So perhaps 0.5 stars with a 0.5 star added on top for pity.

Story is complete garbage and ruins the mystique threat of the Predators basically turning them into wandering geneticist "big" game hunters that are more interested in DNA then the actual hunt which is what they were initially known for. Lot of inconstancies with the plot and stupid decisions that made took me out of a more serious horroresque Predator/Alien universe and into some parody of the actual source material but done in a bad cringe worthy way.

Characters are all terribly written and cliched with each one being some token character that more or less feels like checkmarks as opposed to actually interesting characters (even if it's a SCI-FI Action Flick).

First Predator still remains the best probably followed by either Alien vs. Predator or 2010's Predators and then followed by any of the other ones including this movie which isn't saying much for this franchise sadly.

Watching this movie I began to desperately hope for nearly all the characters to die terrible deaths and every time something stupid would happen that I didn't think could get topped I was completely wrong. If you want something to jeer at or complain about then this movie fits that 100%.

I like sci-fi and like almost all of them but this one is a real dud. Cheesy acting and terrible directing. The special effects are great but the characters are all so unbelievable. Just very poorly put together. Save this one for the long plane ride when you don't have any other movies to watch and no more magazines or books to read. Otherwise, don't touch this one.

If you don't like sci fi, then why are you renting this and then trashing it?

I'm 66 years old and am a big fan of the Predator series.

I thought #1 with Arnie was great but I might even like this one more.

Think of it as a sci-fi / comedy. It had some really funny lines.

My wife would hate it but my boys and I loved it. We do a boys movie night at my house on the big screen with a 1000 watt sound system about once a month.

We are giving this one 4 bags of popcorn out of 5.

We loved the Alien pet dog near the end. What a nice looking pooch

Get ready for the exposition dump of a life time as this amazingly put together documentary answers our deepest questions about The Predator. Why do they come to earth? Why are they called "Predators"? Why do they have dreadlocks? Why do they have Green Blood?

Bumble your way through with a host of characters and plotlines that were somehow mangled and crammed into 2018's The Predator and come out with a feeling of wasted time and more questions then answers such as: How does Turrets Syndrome and Asperger's actually work? How does a scientist acquire the skills to fight aliens and keep up with alien ships while simply running? What do Unicorns have to do with Predators? How does shooting an alien dog in the head make it act like a normal earth dog? Why is chewing gum the next bite of an apple in showing who the antagonist is?
