Beware of books offering a solution or cure for aging. Especially those who claim it all scientific and have done tonnes of research. BAH.
Aging is not a disease and it can't be cured.
It is particularly dangerous to follow any fad diet or advice when you get older. You can do lots of damage to your aging body doing this.
Listen to your body and simple is best. Moderate exercise, food high in nutrients, laughter and less stress. Good sleep. Pretty well sums it up, you don't need a book. The latest science often translates into the latest get rich for the doctors fad.
And all books on aging contradict each other on what is best.

I found Dr. Fung's book "The Obesity Code" to be much more interesting and more helpful. This book laid out some interesting material without giving much assistance in terms of how to implement except by buying recommended products (really!) There's a lot better out there.
