Great engrossing read. Despite the not very likable or engaging characters, the plot itself was really good and kept you guessing until much later.

This book has some twisted people in it. I don't know what to say without giving too much away. A family has a daughter who seems to be a sociopath back in the 1980s and 1990s. Then there is a couple in 2017 and the man goes missing and revelations about his character start to come to light. Of course somehow these two incidents have to be tied together. There are a few revelations. I will say it was a little hard for me to know what happened a few times because my advanced copy from Penguin Random House had the last page of chapter 1 and the last 2 pages of the final chapter so I think I missed some important items. Overall thought it was an enjoyable psychological thriller. I hope I never cross paths with a Hannah in my lifetime.
