Oh yum! Maria's recipes are so very good. Not complicated or hard to find ingredients, especially once you have set up a basic keto kitchen. Beautiful photos of many recipes. I Love how she has an index in the back of the book with a thumbnail photo of each recipe by chapter, (so technically there IS a photo of Every recipe). She also has a legend at the beginning of each recipe which indicates which stage of keto the recipe is best for, as well as whether it is free of: dairy, or nuts, or eggs, for those that have those concerns. At the bottom of each recipe is the nutritional analysis which you use to ensure you are within your daily macros.
She has good basic keto info at the beginning of the book, but not an in depth study of keto. I appreciate that, as I'm getting my keto education from other sources. She also has other books that cover the science in an in depth way. This is a Cookbook, and a darn good one at that.
I was looking for a CookBook of Good Recipes to possibly add to my collection. I am Definitely Purchasing my own copy, as I Know I will refer to this one Often. I'll use it several times a week. The waitlist is long, and I Must have my own copy!
