I don't get the hate. Dylan's voice has always been rough around the edges. That's certainly the case here, but he sounds like he's having a ball. It's fun. It's cheery. If you've enjoyed Dylan's recent albums (particularly the unambitious but enjoyable trilogy of American standards "Shadows in the Night," "Fallen Angels," and "Triplicate,"), you'll probably like this one too. Unless you're a Grinch.
